But those intervening years have been life-changing for this critically acclaimed, genre-defying musician and this week she readies herself to screen bare-all video footage as part of a multi-media live performance at London’s Roundhouse.

“It’s going to be a celebration and a turning of the page for me; a culmination of the process of releasing my debut album, my becoming as an artist and accepting my womanhood,” Eska says evenly of the impending concert. “I’ve experienced a liberation of my femininity, so it felt natural that the visuals accompanying the music use my body as a landscape.”
